IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT LEE EVANS CONCERTS – If for any reason you won’t be using the tickets you purchased, make sure the person who will be attending gets this!

We’re looking forward to seeing you at the Brighton Centre for the Lee Evans concerts, it’s going to be great and we know you’ll have a good time!

Just to keep you informed, due to the building work going on at the Brighton Centre you will be able to get into the venue via the front doors, as well as the back doors on the Russell Road, BUT because everyone will be leaving at the same time, there are some things you’ll need to know which will help you to exit as safely and as quickly as possible.

When you arrive you’ll notice some signs and will hear instructions prior to the start of the show. Please listen carefully and follow the advice of venue staff who will give you directions to your nearest exit once the show has finished.  They are there to help, so if you have any concerns, just ask.

In order to reduce any possibility of overcrowding at the main doors, we will be using several temporary exits in order to get you on your way as soon as we can. So don’t forget, if you’re booking taxis or public transport, be sure to add another 15mins to the end of the show time to allow for this process.

The timings for the concert are:

Doors, 7.00pm / Lee Evans First Act, 8.00pm / Interval, 9.05pm / Lee Evans Second Act, 9.30pm / End, 10.45pm PLUS 15mins to exit = 11.00pm

Here are some other things you should know:

• Pre-paid credit card bookings, ticket queries, guest list and complimentary tickets can be collected from the temporary Box Office situated at the Syndicate Wing (please follow appropriate signage), sited at the rear of the venue on the Russell Road.
• Latecomers may be held for up to 8 minutes at the start of each act. Once there is a suitable pause in the show, venue staff will show you into the auditorium.
• Drinks can be purchased and taken to your seats (but not hot drinks I’m afraid) prior to the start of each act. However, you won’t be allowed to purchase from the bar and re-enter the hall until the Interval.  Sorry, Lee doesn’t like performing whilst people are going in and out, and it’s quite annoying for your fellow fans too!
• Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the Brighton Centre.  If you need a smoke you’ll need to do so outside of the venue!
• The Merchandise Man will be positioned in the front and rear foyers of the venue.  Please try and purchase before the start of the show and during the interval.  Based on the position of your seat, you may be directed to an exit that doesn’t go past the Merchandise stand on the way out, so make sure you get what you want first thing.
• There won’t be a cloakroom available on the night, but we’ve checked the weather and whilst it might be a bit damp Monday and Tuesday we hope this won't inconvienence you too much.  Sorry about that, the building works have meant that we don’t have the room, and we thought you’d rather we made sure everything else was okay than cancel for the sake of a cloakroom!

Tickets can also be purchased (subject to availability), in person over the counter at the Venue Box Office, which is open between 10.00am-5.30pm, Mon-Sat.  A Credit Card commission fee of £1.75 will be charged on transactions made at the Venue Box Office.  Commission Fees or Booking Fees are not applicable on cash payments or Debit Card payments made over the counter (in person) at the Venue Box Office during opening hours.
