Keane are at the height of their career with unprecedented international success, retaining their status as one of the biggest British bands in the world. The November Arena ‘Strangeland’ tour announcement comes ten years after their first ever band gig, at the Betsey Trotwood in London where they played to just 50 people.
Tim Rice-Oxley said, "We still find it amazing that we get to play those big gigs, and we never take it for granted. So we'll be making these shows very special and doing our utmost to give every single person there an unforgettable night. Keane fans are the best in the world, always singing their hearts out, and we feel like our music is at its best when it is echoing around those big rooms and being sung by thousands of people - it's a magical thing for us to be a part of and we can't wait to experience it again."
“Keane are rather brilliant…” (NME)
"…the kind of heart-bursting hymns to small-town dreamers that Bruce Springsteen might have written if he had grown up in Eastbourne rather than New Jersey. With over ten million album sales to date, they remain one of Britain’s most successful bands of the past decade, and one of a mere handful to crack America." (The Times)
